If I had a quarter for every person who has tried to buy Barnum off me, I'd be a rich girl. That's because this dog is literally THE BEST. And I mean that. He is the sweetest, most loyal, cuddly, happy, easygoing, partner a person could have. From veterinarians, dog show handlers, breeders, and friends, I have had probably one hundred people ask if they could have him because of his outstanding temperament. He's such a great dog and a wonderful ambassador of the breed.

Barnum came to us all the way from Australia from Qeltynn Border Collies, and spent his months as a young dog showing at specialty show weekends, and various all-breed shows. He won one of his majors at the prestigious Palm Springs all-breed dog show, and one of his majors at the supported entry day after the Border Collie Club of Greater Los Angeles specialty show. He finished in just a handful of shows.

Amongst all other things, he is the constant companion to our daughter, whether running around the ranch or laying next to her on the living room floor while she plays with her toys. He gets along with any dog, and is sound in mind in all social situations.

Recently, Barnum finished his Farm Dog Certification and his Fit Dog Bronze title. He continues to train and trial in scent work, where he has his Novice Interiors and Novice Exteriors title, as well as other various Novice legs currently.
